@seth_weisfeld and I trucked down to VCU’s Executive Education course this past week and presented this slideshare.
The gist? we have to understand the culture of digital platforms in the same way that we intuitively and historically understood the culture of TV and print. you know how you come home from work and sit on your duff in front of the TV for hours on end, and therefore you understand TV, it’s value and then “get it” when something like TiVO shakes the world? awesome. now get that intuitive about digital platforms because we have to operate in those as well.
